Financial Help For Breast Cancer Patients/Susan G. Komen

Minnesota Affiliate Susan G. Komen has partnered with Circle of Hope, a local non-profit to provide financial assistance for breast cancer patients in financial distress from a breast cancer diagnosis. This grant is for northern or even middle Minnesota. There are income guidelines. Patients need to talk to their cancer care providers, social worker or nurse navigators.

The application covers gas and grocery cards, rent or a house payment, and utility payments. The patients and the provider needs to fill out a lengthy application that is processed immediately. Gas and grocery cards are sent to the patient. Utility bills rent or a house payment are sent to the providers of these services after the patient has sent the organization copies of these bills.

Call 1.218.464.1626 for information or call Peggy at home at: 1.218.525.1905.

Circle of Hope also pays breast cancer treatment bills from other funding sources.

Over $43,000 has been paid out from both accounts.  Circle of Hope started giving out money on April 19, 2011.

If you would like to make a donation and make a difference in the lives of others there are many needs.
