There is a 5 Day Program for Better Health. It is to increase y our consumption of fruits and vegetables to 5-9 serving’s per day. The more of a variety is important according to the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the Produce for Better Health Organization.
Why? Because they help your body guard against the potential cancer causing chemicals, act as antioxidants, stimulate detoxification enzymes, stimulate the immune system, positively affect your hormones, and act as antibacterial or antiviral agents.
