Native American Ancestry

Did you know there is a test to determine if you are of Native American Ancestry?

I have been doing some major cleaning at my house and came across this. For example, if you are a male attempting to determine if your Native American Ancestry is from your father’s side, your genealogy chart must match the following:

M0-M1-M2-M4-M8

Your  mtDNA cannot determine a % of Naive American ancestry. The MO traces the left outermost branch of the chart based on the law of genetics.  Maybe there is some current research.

The mtDNA on the Mother’s side cannot trace on the men’s side, if I understand this correctly.  In other words, mother to mother must be traced.  Sounds like you would have to do some research here. I am just reading an older article on this; I have not checked the website. I will leave this up to you; you can be the explorer.
