This is our supper for tomorrow night. We are having Irish Corned Beef and Cabbage.
4 large red onions, cut into quarters
1 pound of carrots or one small bag
3 cups of water
1 T. minced garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
2 T. of cider vinegar
1/2 T. pepper
1 small head of cabbage
1 package of corned beef brisket with the spice packet
Mix the water, garlic, bay leaf, vinegar, pepper and spice packet.
Put all of the ingredients in the crock pot or slow cooker.
Pour the water and spices in the crock pot.
Cook 8 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender.
Remove the bay leaf.
It should serve 6-8 servings.
