I don’t know if you like Consumer Reports but I sure do enjoy reading them. They have Latest Product Ratings, Consumer Reports Mobile, Build & Buy Car Buying Service, New! Car Repair Pricing, Price & Shop, and Health Information. You can subscribe today at www.ConsumerReports.org/cr/food-fitness

I picked up an issue of Food & Fitness today at the grocery store.

Bagels-The most highly rated are Dunkin Donuts, Lender’s Original (which I buy), and Kirland Signature (Costo)

French Fries are rated at many of the typical fast food changes.  They even have recipes for healthier French fries that you can make.  I love potatoes but sometime you can have too many of them in your diet.

Wine Winners: Black Swan, Pinot Grigio and Riesling

McDonalds Chocolate Chip Cookies are low in calories.

Eating smaller meals and more meals helps with cholesterol and much more. We over eat as Americans. Anyway we can cut down in the battle of the bulge is important.

Pickle Juice-Did you know that waste not want not? Pickle juice can be used in vinaigrette’s, dressings and marinates. I sound like I work for a restaurant.

Nuts-Did you know that nuts can be good for weight loss? A research study showed that people who consumed more nuts weighted less. Nuts are rich in important nutrients.  They can have a positive effect on your cardiovascular health, elevated LDL and triglycerides. Walnuts and almonds, peanuts and other nutty treats are good for  fiber in your diet. We need fiber anyway we can get it, from grains, vegetables, and much more.
