Lake Superior Dragon Boat Races, The Many Faces of Breast Cancer

Posted by peggysue on August 26, 2012 in Admirable, Courage, Food, Healthy Choices, Hope, Passion and Joy, Selfless People |

Each the Many Faces of Breast Cancer teams enjoy the dragon boat races. It is the excitement, the food, and the companionship of team members, their families, friends, and other survivors. Since they can not fund raiser for a foundation or a another non-profit, they can participate in the fun filled days event.

The Many Faces of Breast Cancer teams I and II are part of the Circle of Hope organization, a 501-c-3 organization dedicated to helping breast cancer patients and their families. They pay breast cancer treatment bills of those in severe need in the region or rather northern Mn and northern Wisconsin.

Circle of Hope pays the providers of breast cancer treatment services. This is only one of the major things they do. These are the patients who really need help as their needs are not being met. If you want to read some of the comments made by patients go to:  Just click on the link to the left.

Here are team pictures from last year.
