Get Pampered for Peggy, Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Peggy Rydberg (Margaret Johnson), a former vice chair of Circle of Hope, helped to started the organization. She is from Superior, Wisconsin.  She also was on the leadership team, and was team captain of the Many Faces of Breast Cancer teams for two years. She has been battling breast cancer that has metatasized for seven years. She has some very unforseen medical bills.

Trends is opening their doors on Monday, Feburary 27th from 2-7 p.m. to raise money for Peggy. All salon services and various spa services will be available with 100% of the sales being donated to Peggys treatment bills. Call Trends to make your appointment and Get Pampered for Peggy during this time. You can just go to socialize, participate in the silent auction and drawings throughout the days. Refreshements will be served.

Donations are needed, just drop them off at Trends.

Peggy has been battling breast cancer since she was first diagnosed in 2004. It has spread to the bones, liver, and brain. She has inoperable brain cancer. 

She worked at St. Lukes Hospital for close to 20 years, St. Scholastica/Benedictan Health Center ( year or less),  Chris Jensen Nursing Home (year or less), was a beautician (for family and friends), volunteered at Essentia Hospital (Superior). Peggy has not worked for several years with metastatic cancer and had to go on disability
