It’s actually located in Grand Rapids, MN. It’s a 1900 logging camp that you can learn about forestry and forest ecology. Pull out your plaid wear. You will meet lumberjacks, blackmiths and cooks. You can even climb a 100 foot tower. That sound scary. You can try the modern timber harvester simulator, ask about Geo Trak, or check out GPS. They have a gift shop and a visitor center. You can ski and snow shoe there in the winter.  They have lost of special events there throughout the year, a Children’s Weekend, “a Timber Barons vs Conservationsists presentation,” and” an Evening of Tunes.”
